Gamified Compliance Training | Story-Based Learning | Interactive Scenario
Project Overview: Designed an immersive privacy training experience to help associates understand complex privacy policies and apply safe data-handling practices through interactive storytelling.
The Challenge: Privacy regulations can be complex and difficult to engage with. Traditional compliance training often relies on information delivery rather than meaningful practice, making it challenging for learners to retain and apply key concepts.
Learning Solution: Created a character-driven, gamified learning experience inspired by Sherlock Holmes. Learners became investigators, collecting clues, solving mini-mysteries, and uncovering important privacy requirements through interactive challenges and decision-making activities.
Instructional Design Approach:
- Used narrative-based learning to increase engagement and knowledge retention
- Applied gamification elements, including investigation activities and challenges
- Transformed complex regulations into relatable workplace scenarios
